Cookie Clicker is great!

This is a really fun game, and I love to earn cookies and buy upgrades and stuff. However, I dont see the point of cookie disposal like Im on level 26 of disposal but Im just losing cookies so whats the point? And also does anyone know how to get rainbow chips?
